George Ash In Indiana

From the Vevay, Switzerland, Indiana, Centennial website:

George Ash, a former "captive" of the Shawnees, built Switzerland County's first brick house in 1798 and later operated a ferry across the river. Today, his home is one of Indiana's oldest extant houses.
