Estate of John Clendenin(g) stated that he died in 1787 at "Big Harpeth" in Sumner County, Tennessee. Military Land Warrant #1803-200 for 200 acres was given to his two daughters and only heirs, Rose Brisby and Ann Martin.

My half 4th great grand aunt, Jemima Trousdale, married William A. Blackard in White County, Illinois.
Aquilla is a family name in the Greer line and Greers moved to the White County, Illinois, area. It is not known to me if Aquilla Davenport is related to this family.
Though I do have Johnsons who lived in Southern Illinois, it appears as though this family is unrelated to me.

Perhaps the person who died in 1881 was living with Joel Rice in 1850. An Abel Rice was enumerated in the 1820 census in White County, Illinois. The older Abel Rice appears to be the younger Abel's uncle.
