Connection To Jerusha Osborne?

"Mary Morey...married E. Darwin Gibbs, Oct. 3, 1848 ; died in Litchfield, Mich., March 6, 1881."

Was the E. Darwin Gibbs referenced above the same E. Darwin Gibbs who was mentioned in a land transaction involving Jerusha (Backus) Osborne?  Probably.  According to the Morey genealogy,  the family did have roots in Livingston County, New York, where the transaction occurred.

Of additional interest to me, the E. Darwin Gibbs family lived in the small town of Litchfield, Michigan, just a few miles south of our Michigan home.
