According to this website, the Ontario Death Registrations did not list the parents' names and places of birth until 1909 +.

Now how to find that data for persons who died in Middlesex County, Ontario (Michael Powers) on 22 October 1885 and (Mary Powers) 8 May 1893?  Newspapers? The London Room of the London Public Library?
