Another "Detroit" connection for the TV show Justified (Detroit is where many of the bad guys who meddle in Harlan County reside)....

Mel Boring, father of Jeremy Davies, the actor who played Dickie Bennett in Justified, was born in Detroit (seen below at age"0" in 1940).
