Rebecca Perry was the daughter of Stephen and Esther (Loper) Perry who lived in Oakland County, Michigan. She was buried with her parents and sister at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Rebecca was married first to Loid Orville Farrar from whom she was granted a divorce. The records were abstracted in Divorce Records For Oakland County 1839-1865 p. 81-82. Excerpts:
FARRAR, REBECCA vs LOID ORVILLE FARRAR. Petition filed 25 Aug 1859. Rebecca's petition states that she was age 30 and a resident of Brandon Township and has been for the last five years past. She is the wife of Loid Orville Farrar, age 45, whom she married at Brandon, 11 Dec 1848. They lived as husband and wife until Mar 1858. There is one child, a daughter, Rosaltha, now three years old and residing with the complainant. The complainant believes her husband left Michigan and went to Illinois, then to Missouri, where he last was as of 24 Aug 1859.
Divorce granted 28 Dec 1859 to Rebecca Farrar. [Oakland County Marriage Records shows Rebekah [sic] A. Farrar, age 30, of Brandon who married Samuel Praige, age 46, of Holly at Brandon , 31 Dec 1859.] CASE #910
Rosaltha Farrar married James Levi More who was the brother of my great-grandmother, Addie More Powers.
