A source to research for my Richmond family?
From the Fort Wayne, Indiana, library's E-zine publication, Genealogy Gems (published August 31, 2009):
The Robert R. Livingston Papers, 1658-1888 is a microfilmed manuscript collection [57 reels] described as a "vital source...for researchers tracing...[those] who settled on Livingston Manor in present day Columbia County, New York." There is a printed guide to the collection [974.7Er4r]; Reel 57 also provided indexes.
