Mrs. Trousdale's Parents?

According to William Slaughter of Prince George and Lunenburg Counties Virginia - Progenitor of Pioneer Cattlemen of Texas and the Southwest, Volume Two, found online, my 5th great-grandmother known to me as the widow, Mrs. "Fannie" Clendennin, who married my 5th Great-Grandfather Alexander Trousdale, was the daughter of George Webb and Margaret Adcock.

"Mary “Fannie” Webb, daughter of George Webb and Margaret Adcock, first married John C. Clendenin on December 27, 1782 at Camden, Orange County, North Carolina."

Here's the family tree for another child of George Webb and Margaret Adcock.  Additional information with pictures attached in this message thread.

George Webb's father is said to be Timothy Webb -- there's a Webb DNA project that mentioned Timothy and George here.

Was Mrs. Mary (Fannie) Clendennin Trousdale the daughter of George and Margaret?  It seems promising. However, this site has Nancy Webb, daughter of George and Margaret, married to Joseph Clendennin, not John; also listed is a Mary married to Jesse Bounds.  Hmmm....
