Walter Powers & Trial Shepard, probably the most well known Powers', were the ancestors of my double cousin, the late Connie Brinley Butterfield, but were not my ancestors. Connie and I were related through the Rice and Johnson lines [Connie's Powers lineage].
Other Powers lineages of interest to me, though not mine, include the Cyrus Hale Stone & Nancy (Richmond) Powers family, Alberta (Rice) Powers, and Nathaniel & Elizabeth (Acklin) Powers.
