Hello, My name is Theresa Merrit and my husband Doug and I own "Collina" which is a beautiful home built in 1835 by Volney Stamps. It is in Port Gibson, MS.,and is a short distance from "Idlewild", the other home he built. It is Greek Revival in style. Judge Stamps and his wife Jane lived at Collina for many years.

Terry, the Port Gibson area is beautiful. Next time through I'll try to look for Collina. I'm not related to Volney Stamps, but was interested in his Gallatin, TN, connection.

Thanks for leaving a message.
