Did You Vote For Cousin Sarah?

My shared ancestry with Sarah Palin includes Stephen Hopkins of the Mayflower; she descends from Stephen Hopkins' son Giles and I descend from his daughter Constance. Ms. Palin has several Mayflower ancestors; Stephen and Constance are my only known Mayflower ancestors.

William Backus is another shared ancestor (although not shown on Sarah Palin's linked ancestry above). Sarah Palin's "Backus" line ends with Sarah Backus (she listed on Sarah's ancestry) who married Edward Culver:
