Back To Bricks Flint Cruise Rolling Past The Sit Down Strike Location

While inadvertently “cruising” along last Thursday with the historical cars rolling through Grand Blanc to the 2007 "Back To The Bricks" fest in Flint (with Cousin Fred at the wheel), we passed the Fisher Body building where the 1936/7 sitdown strike was held. Riding behind a Buick Roadmaster similar to the one my grandparents owned in the 1950's reminded me of sitting on the porch with Grandpa, a Fisher Body employee, playing "name that car" as they sped by on Corunna Road.
