Two Persons Named Abel Rice of White Co., Illinois

There was an Abel Rice in White County, Illinois, who died on February 18, 1846.  Was Rev. Abel Rice a relative?  Perhaps the person who died in 1881 was living with Joel Rice in 1850.  An Abel Rice was enumerated in the 1820 census in White County, Illinois.  The older Abel Rice appears to be the younger Abel's uncle.
