Beyond these towers are the celebrated plains of Abraham, where our gallant Wolfe so dearly purchased that honour and renown which will ever accompany his name. The place where the British troops landed is about three miles from Cape Diamond, and forms a sort of small bay now generally known by the name of Wolfe's Cove. [Source 1816 publication]
