The wife of Dr. Omar L. Kilborn, medical missionary of the Methodist Church, has died of cholera at Chen Tu, China. Deceased was a daughter of Prof. James Fowler of Queen's College and left Kingston in August last.
"Omar Kilborn sailed to China with his wife Jennie Fowler in 1891, arriving in Chengtu in May 1892. He was supported in his Mission by the Toronto East District Epworth League. Shortly after her arrival in West China, Jennie contracted cholera. She died on July 10 1892." Source
