"...Christoph Palm, who was a barber-surgeon in the first half of the eighteenth century in Schorndorf...passed on the trade to his son Johann Leonhard. His grandson, Wilhelm Friedrich Palm, set up practice as a municipal surgeon in the imperial city of Ulm in 1797." "His son, Johannes, worked as an apprentice to his father from 1808 to 1813."
A branch of the Palm family moved to Circleville, Pickaway County, Ohio, the site of the Palm building below:
