Son of the pioneer, Dr. George Finkle, [Henry Finkle] was born in Dutchess county, New York, in 1760, and died in Ernest township, Addington county, Ontario, on January 6, 1808. His wife, Lucretia Bleecker, to whom he was married on May 15, 1788, died March 23rd 1850. They are both buried in Kingston, near the grave of Sir John A. McDonald. Their children were five in number — Charlotte,
George, Lucretia, Minerva and William. [Source]
