Darwin Millington, born June 15, 1815, arrived from Ypsilanti, MI, in 1837 (1834 per Library doc) with his father, Dr. Abel and his brother, Cicero. In 1838, Dr. Abel Millington “bought a large parcel of land on the west side of town [St. Charles, Illinois]...for $8,000 in gold, a huge sum in those days.” [Source]
