This Orin Backus in the 1892 census?  Also in the household was wife, Helen (Cook), and children, Nettie, Frank, and Clinton.

This Orin Backus who died in 1907 (date of birth 31 May 1821) and was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredonia, Chautauqua County, New York?  In 1892 Orin Backus had a daughter Nellie; in 1905, Orin Backus was living with Nellie Thorpe and her husband in Chautauqua County as the father in the household.  Clinton D. Backus, Nellie's sister and Orin's son, listed Nellie Thorpe as his contact person on his WWI Draft Registration Card.

The date of birth of Orin Backus who was buried in Chautauqua County was 31 May 1821; the date of birth of Orrin Backus (no death date noted) who was listed in Mount Hope Cemetery in Monroe County where wife Mary Ann was buried was 13 May 1821.  Was one of the dates (13/31) transposed?

I'm guessing that there is one Orrin Backus who is listed in two different cemeteries.
