Back To Tennessee After The Burr Trial

Source

From the Reminiscences of Colonel Robert Chester:

When I lived in Carthage, General Jackson passed through the town, on the way home from the Burr trial. Jackson's glass was at his lips, but he threw the whiskey into the speaker's eyes. [Source]
