Son of Martin Emmanuel and Juliet (Hinds) Witt?

A native of Winchester, Tenn., Mr. Witt came here from Brown county, Texas. Though he had been ill for a number of years, his sudden death was not expected. He was a retired auto mechanic. Surviving Mr. Witt are two daughters, Miss May Witt, who resided with her father, and Mrs. Louise Nelson, Detroit; two sons, T. [Thomas Ross] R. Witt, Ontario, and Emmett Witt in Alabama; a sister. Mrs. W. E. Welty. Brownwood, Texas; a brother, S. M. Witt, Norman, Okla.; and one grandchild. He was a member of the Methodist church and was affiliated with the Odd Fellows lodge In Texas. Funeral arrangements, in charge of the Stone mortuary, are incomplete.
