Excerpts from John Burton's will (indexed as Borton) dated 23 February 1754, also included Arrobello Burton. [Pages 50 and 51] The will was made in the Parish of Dale, Chesterfield County, Virginia (page 208 in the county's first Will Book). Witnesses were John Baker, Robert Cayce, and Sarah Baker.
Arabella (possibly Burton) first married an Anderson (possibly named John), and were the parents of Alsey (Anderson) Evans. Arabella's granddaughter, Nancy Evans, married Michael Roark.
Arabella was my 6th great-grandmother. I still hope to find definitive proof of her maiden name.
