The drawing below was taken from the story of O. M. Spencer, a captive who was taken to Detroit. Fort Washington was established in what is now Cincinnati, Ohio (see map). An historical plaque commemorating the site where Fort Washington once stood (or at least near the site) can be seen in a YouTube video.
