Respectfully returned to

Box No. 63

The name Thomas Henry Humphrey has not been found on the muster rolls on file in this office of any Confederate States Army organization from the State of Arkansas.
The records show that one Thomas Humphrey, rank not stated, Company B, 6th Battalion Arkansas Cavalry (also known as 1st, Phifer's, White's and McNeill's Batt'n.), Confederate States Army, was discharged on Surgeon's certificate of disability, date not stated, probably about February, 1862.
No rolls of that company are on file and no record has been found to show the date and place of his entry into service.
The records also that one Thomas Humphrey, private, Company K, 1st (Crawford's) Regiment Arkansas Cavalry, C.S.A., enlisted December 15, 1863, at Arkadelphia.
Company Muster Roll for December 31, 1863, to February 29, 1864, only roll on file, shows him absent, (reason of said absence illegible. [Stamped TX]
No other record of him has been found.
