If it was "my" Laura (Backus) Richmond living in the Blake household in 1855, she was back with her family (and in Lapeer County, Michigan) in 1860.  Laura previously left her husband, Thomas P. Richmond, in 1831.  On 29 August 1850, in Livonia, Livingston County, New York, a Laura Richmond, age 36, was living with the Abram Cronk family.  On 13 September 1850 "my" Laura Richmond, age 42, was living with her husband and children in Conesus, Livingston County, New York.  I haven't found Thomas Richmond, nor the Richmond children in the 1855 census.  Were they already in Lapeer County, Michigan (or somewhere else)?

Were there one or two Laura Richmonds in Livingston County, New York? Not sure.
