While searching for more about the family of William Young, who married Mary Ann Alexander on 02 MAY 1817 at the Garden St Dutch Reformed Church, New York, New York, I found them in the 1855 New York Census. Sixty-four year old William Young was born in Rensselaer, as was his sixty-six year old brother Daniel Young. Mary Ann, age 58, was born in the City of New York. All of the children still living at home were born in Livingston County. The family had been living in Nunda, Livingston County, New York, for three years (they lived in Leicester, also in Livingston County, in 1850, and were still living in Nunda in 1860.
