Phoebe’s journal spans several stages of her life - from her marriage at age eighteen to the Reverend William Gregg in 1849 to her last entry at age 62 in 1893.

Phoebe Gregg started her diary with her wedding announcement in 1849.  She was married by Rev. I. B. [Isaac Brock] Howard (a member of my family tree).  Rev. Howard's sister, Maria Howard, married Hiram Holden, so there may be a relationship between Phoebe (Holden) Gregg and the Hiram Holden family.
