Nancy's My Ancestors and Me blog posted a Random Act of Genealogical Kindness (RAOGK) which was a partial index of a browsable file at FamilySearch.org (Butler Co., PA, Probate).
I had been filling my notebook with indexing of the Wayne County, Michigan, surname index cards, so here's my RAOGK offering inspired by Nancy's blog. An example:
Jennie (Augusta) Bondy's name was in the browsable surname index Bartlet, George S.-Bourke, O. It was found on Image #6512 of 7407 images. The surname card revealed that the pertinent Wayne County, Michigan, Probate File Number was 24326. File #24326 is not currently online, though some of the files are (#1 through #16980 of the actual probate files are currently online).
