Accounts Audited of Claims.... in the Fort Wayne (Allen County) Library holdings as profiled in their 28 February 2011 Ezine newsletter (excerpted below):
Exiled after the fall of Charleston in 1780, the government of South Carolina operated on credit.
These vouchers, as well as a variety of supporting documents, are reproduced on microfilm in a
series titled “Accounts Audited of Claims Growing Out of the Revolution in South Carolina.”
Researchers also will find the names of claimants included in the SC Archives‛ “Combined Index to Records Series, 1675-1929,” available at <www.archivesindex.sc.gov/onlinearchives/search.aspx>
