BARNUM--Emerson Barnum, 3067 Flushing Rd., age 79, died Friday, April 17, 1942, at Hurley hospital. Funeral will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, April 20, 1942, at the Brown Funeral Home, H. W. Colenso officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park*. Remains will be at the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd. Surviving are: Wife, Minnie; 4 sons, Ben of Bancroft, William of Mr. [sic] Morris, James of Flushing, Emerson, jr., of Flint; 3 daughters, Mrs. Melvia Corrivau and Mrs. Ida Mae Cross, both of Flint, and Mrs. Irene Allen of Clio; 12 grandchildren; 4 sisters, Mrs. Clara Wilds [sic?], Mrs. Lillian Keller, both of Linden; Mrs. Ada Western of Flushing, Mrs. Mae Vincent of West Branch; 4 great-grandchildren.
