JEFFRIES--Manda Jeffries, 1367 Ives St., age 62, died Friday, January 7, 1944, at Hurley Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M., Monday January 10, 1944, from Brown Funeral Home, Rev. E. G. Black officiating. Burial in Flushing Cemetery. Remains will be at the funeral home, 1616 Davison Rd. Death was caused by complications after an illness of three months. She was born in Wabash, Ohio, March 25, 1882, and had lived in Flint 36 years, coming here from Ohio. Surviving are: Three daughters, Mrs. Leota Rye and Mrs. Daisy Green of Montrose, Mrs. Mildred O'Neil of Flint; five sons, John of Flushing, Ora of U.S. Army, England, Marvin, Harlan and George of Flint; 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; brother, William Spohn, of Pontiac; sister, Mrs. Rachael Enyart, of Dayton, Ohio.
