Tombstone Tuesdays - George & Alvina Miller





Captain George Millar, who served in the Spanish-American War, was born in Ilkley, England, the son of Scots parents (Andrew & Jane (More) Millar). George was the nephew of my great-great grandfather, James More.

George & Alvina Millar were living in Torch Lake Twp., Houghton County, Michigan, when the 1900 census was taken.

Alvina was the daughter of Herman (and/or John) & Louisa (Struber) Stapperfenne:
