Tombstone Tuesdays - Killed In Battle Was Richard F. Kirkpatrick

There is a monument honoring Richard F. Kirkpatrick in the Old Gray Cemetery in Knoxville, Tennessee. Mr. Kirkpatrick, from Flat River, Missouri, was killed in Europe in World War I. His remains were transported from Hoboken, NJ, to Washington, D.C. and then taken to Knoxville in 1921. He was originally from Knoxville.
