a native of
New Ross, County Wexford, Ireland
Who departed this life April 4th, 1860
aged 62 years

That monument is right behind the Mobile Public Library - what more could a genealogist want -- a cemetery and a library so close to one another.

That is one of the most unusual tombstones I have ever seen. You sure couldn't forget where he was buried, could you?
