History In Baldwin County, Alabama

We started Geocaching in 2002 and placed a cache in the northern part of Baldwin County, Alabama. Today we checked on the cache, entitled Creek History 101, which takes the geocacher to three different locations. The first location is the grave of Red Eagle (William Weatherford); the second is Fort Mims and the third is an undisclosed location where the cache is physically located.

An historical marker for the Mound Line boundary (Ellicott Line) and another historical Marker commemorating Bartram's Trail can be seen enroute to the cache locations, all located in Baldwin Co., Alabama.
