Obituary - Mrs. Cynthia Richardson

Mrs. Cynthia Richardson died Monday March 17 of la grippe and was buried Wednesday from the house, Rev. D. B. Davidson officiating.  She was 76 years of age, a resident of this state twenty-two years and a resident of Isabella county seven years.

She was in Livingstson County, New York, in 1850, with her presumed father, John Backus (Daniel was living in a different household in 1850).  In 1860 Cynthia and Dan'l Richardson were living in Livonia, Livingston Co., NY with John W. Richardson, age 21. Daniel and Cynthia Richardson were living in Blackman Twp., Jackson Co., Michigan, in 1870.  Their son, Daniel L. Richardson and his family were living next door to Daniel & Cynthia in 1870


Her father was born in England according to the 1880 census?  Not if her father was John Backus.
