ALMONT
Dr. R. S. Bancroft passed away very peacefully on Thursday evening after a lingering illness, aged 78 years. He had resided here with his sisters eleven years and was highly esteemed. His sons D. B. Bancroft of Detroit and Geo. Bancroft of Minnesota and nephew Rev. E. B. Bancroft of Flint were here to attend the funeral which occurred Sunday morning with masonic ceremonies.
