John Hunt, a founder of Huntsville, Alabama, was Samuel Acklin's father-in-law. Samuel Acklin gave a deposition at John Hunt's house in Claiborne County, Tennessee, that was included in the Chancery Court Case of Christopher Acklin vs. Exr. of Thomas Walker (see below).
