Sometimes family matters are not easily resolved. There was the John Thiers (AKA Casper Wittman) estate and the lawsuit contesting said estate brought by his children. Then there was the Wittman children suing one another over their mother's estate (Caroline Wittman).
As indicated in a story in the Philadelphia Inquirer, a bill in equity was filed by Aloysius Wittman, Joseph Wittman and Theresa Kretz, against Clara E. Wittman, as executrix of the will of Caroline Wittman and also suing Clara in her own right, as well as Casper Wittman and Ida Walburga Wittman.
