SINCERBEAU, Lemuel R.--1021 E. Scottwood, age 89, died Wednesday, November 13, 1968, at Flint Osteopathic Hospital. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Reigle Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4305 Clio Rd., Rev. Alan LaRose officiating. Burial in Bristol Cemetery. Mr. Sincerbeau will lie in state at the funeral home. He was born in Flushing, Michigan, September 30, 1879, and had been a resident of the Flint area most of his life. Surviving are: Son, Vernon Sincerbeau of Naples, Florida; 4 grandchildren, Mrs. Betty Ranall of Naples, Florida, Mr. Rodney Bly of Belleville, Mrs. Nancy Parker of Utica, Mr. Richard Sincerbeau of Flint; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
L.R. Sincerbeau(x)'s step-mother, Clara Estelle (Powers) Brooks Sincerbeaux, was my great-grandfather's (William S. Powers) sister. L. R.'s sister, Lola C., married her step-mother's brother, John E. Powers.
