New York in the Revolution.....
Edward Richmond was a member of the Albany County, New York, militia in the Revolutionary War. Was he my ancestor? I don't know.
Record images can be seen at Fold3. One such record, in response to a Mr. J. M. McLaughlin of Wapello, Iowa, indicated that Edward Richmond served for 5 days; April 15, 1777 to April 19, 1777.
Revolutionary War veteran Edward Richmond (later of Hoosick, NY), was a descendant in this line (Olive Briggs' husband), and was not my ancestor.
