Mark Twain & Halley's Comet
Samuel Langhorne Clemens (pen name "Mark Twain") was born 30 November 1835, in Florida, Missouri, and grew up in Hannibal, Missouri. He died 21 April 1910 in Redding, Connecticut.
Samuel L. Clemens was born almost 3 weeks after the 1835 appearance of Halley's comet and he reportedly said that he wanted to go out with the next appearance of the comet. Halley's comet appeared April 20, 1910, and Clemens died on April 21st. Wow.
