(p. 448) Ordered by the Court that Thomas Muse Senr. be appointed overseer of the road of the second class from Sharps Mill to Holders* in room and stead of RANSOM RICE and that he keep to same in good repair according to law that he have the same hands that worked under the former overseer.

The map below lists "Old Holders Cove Road." It may be the "Holders" listed as the end point of the portion of road which was formerly the responsibility of Ransom Rice. There is a Sharp Springs Cemetery located here which may be near the Sharps Mill at the starting point of Ransom Rice's overseer's responsibility.
