Charles Nash Family - Part Two

Charles Nash was an automobile mogul who initially worked for Billy Durant at General Motors in Flint, Michigan, and then went to Kenosha, Wisconsin, and headed Nash Motors. Additional information about his family can be found here.

Mae Nash (b. 1885) , daughter of Charles & Jessie Nash, m. 1st Floyd Miller, son of Clarence J. & Mary (Ingalls) Miller of Swartz Creek, Michigan, who had a produce business, on October 20, 1904. Witnesses were Clarence Miller and Charles Nash. Mae (Nash) Miller married 2nd, on March 6, 1920, Basil Deguichard, son of A. H. & Gertrude (Baines) DeGuichard (born in Denver, Colorado) and who was manager of a manufacturing plant. Albert Champion and John McKeighan were the witnesses.

When the 1920 census was taken Basil De Guichard was divorced and living with Albert Champion (manufacturer of spark plugs) and his wife, Ips(?) in Genesee County, Michigan. Mr. De Guichard was listed as a manager of a spark plug factory.

Basil De Guichard married actress Ruth Donnelly.

The NY Times had an article (truncated) on May 18, 1932: NASH HEIRESS IS WED.; Mrs. Mae De Guichard Married to Bond … . A year ago she was divorced from Basil De Guichard. Brenton also -was divorced. They went to Yuma on May 7 and returned the same day. ...

Lena Nash (b. Aug 1886), daughter of Charles & Jessie, married James T. Wilson, an order clerk who was born in Lansing, Michigan, the son of William & Elsie (Felton) Wilson on October 20, 1908. Mr. & Mrs. W. W. Eldridge of Washington were the witnesses. [Note: Mrs. Abigail Nash (grandmother of Charles Nash) married 2nd. William Eldridge in Genesee County on 12 April 1860.]

Charles & Jessie Nash's daughter, Ruth Nash, was born Sept 1893. This site has her name on a guest register for the Crown Point Chalet in Portland, Oregon, on 5 March 1916. This site has a picture of Ruth Nash.
