Civil War Era Newspaper Online

The GAR Museum and Library in Philadelphia has the Philadelphia Sunday Transcript newspapers of the Civil War era here. According to the website:

The Philadelphia Sunday Transcript was a distinguished Sunday weekly (the daily newspapers did not publish on Sunday in those days) ... . The museum possesses a complete run of the Sunday Transcript from 1860-1866, covering the entire Civil War period. This exists nowhere else.
