Where There's A Will, There's A Way
William Jones' 1848 will* located in Jefferson County, Ohio, was the subject of my July 24, 2010, blog post. *Jones, Wm W-1848 (Will) WB4, p.337 [as indexed in Ohio Wills and Estates to 1850]
The will was obtained the old-fashioned way. A letter was sent to the Jefferson County courthouse; money was exchanged and a copy of the will was sent to me via snail mail.
The above-described will of William Jones can now be found here** at FamilySearch.org. **Ohio, Probate Records, 1790-1967, Jefferson Wills, 1844-1859, Volume 4-5, Image 202 of 752
The increased efficiency of today's research still amazes me.
