Dalyell Killed At Fort Detroit In 1763 As Noted In The Scottish Record Society's Binns Papers
While perusing old Scottish document transcriptions from "The Binns Papers," containing sasines, indentures, letters and other documents primarily relating to the Dalyell family, the following notation in the Papers jumped out at me:
Captain Dalyell was killed in the Battle of Bloody Run during Pontiac's Rebellion at Detroit.
