The Flint Journal (Flint, Michigan) published the following information:
"Mrs. James Scott of Galt, Ont., is seeking information relative to a half sister, Anna McGee, who was adopted by a family named Brown of Clio, 22 years ago, the girl then being 2 years old. A half brother was adopted by a farmer in that neighborhood about the same time, but when 14 years old he ran away and returned to Canada. A brother of Mrs. Scott recently died in California [probably Robert T. Smale], leaving some property, and an effort is being made to locate all the heirs."
