Powers Items In The Lapeer Clarion Newspaper

Note: It appears as though our Powers family had the items with the (North Town Line) in the heading.  The William Powers family moved back to Lapeer from Battle Creek in September of 1900.

13 September 1906 - A. Powers working for Dean Millard

27 September 1906 - (North Town Line) Mrs. Wm. Powers quite poorly

8 November 1906 - (Southwest Goodland) Will Powers has his rye in.
A week ago Saturday night Will Powers while in the barn with his colt was badly hurt by being knocked against the wall by one of them.  No bones were broken but two of his ribs were pulled apart.

15 November 1906- (Southwest Goodland) Will Powers is better.

30 January 1908 - (North Town Line) Ward Powers sick with pneumonia.

6 February 1908 - (North Town Line) Mr. Powers' family all on the sick list.

13 February 1908 - (North Town Line) Mr. Powers' family all better.

27 February 1908 - (North Town Line) Mrs. Hattie Phelps sewing for Mrs. Powers.
Mr. and Mrs. William Powers called on Mr. and Mrs. Frost Sunday.

16 July 1908 - (North Town Line) Miss Lela Hodges of Attica guest of Wm. Powers and family.
