Made for Marietta policeman John Willford, Sr. It's end unscrews to reveal a glass tube sealed with a cork. [Exhibited at the Campus Martius Museum, Marietta, Washington Co., Ohio]

Great picture, and I would never have guessed there would be a sealed glass tube inside a nightstick. Guess those cold nights walking a beat require a bit of sustenance.
